It was fun to sneak away, but it was good coming home to our girls too. This afternoon we had an adventurous, little family walk through the forest. The deeper we went into the woods the more convinced Brynna became that we were going to get lost forever! It probably didn't help that Justin made up a story about a group of boys called the "Canton Boys" who went into the forest and never came out! ;) They all knew ol' Dad was just messing with them...but Brynnie was still a little unnerved! She was relieved when we made it back to the main trail, by the baseball fields, where we started. We came across a playground on the way back to the car and stopped to just let the girls play. I couldn't help but stop and think about how much I love just love my Crew!
